BAR HARBOR — The Acadia Wildlife Foundation invites young naturalists to the nature center for different classes each week.

Children ages 3-6 can explore our center, meet a different animal each week, read a story about that animal and do a related craft. These classes start at 11 a.m. on Saturdays from Nov. 29-Dec. 20 and cost $10 per child per class. Parents are free.

Children ages 7-12 are invited at 1 p.m. for an advanced program which may include outside exploration if weather permits. Reservations are required.

All proceeds from these programs support the animals in our nonprofit nature center.
