Students win honors at state robotics meet



AUGUSTA — Students from the Conners Emerson School and Mount Desert Elementary School competed in the State Lego Robotics Competition recently.

One team from Bar Harbor, “Nxt to Turn, Nxt to Learn,” won first place for teamwork. A second team, “Pickle University,” took second place for innovation. The MDES team, “Uber Jumping Space Kitties,” won second place for teamwork and a second-place trophy in the robotics finals.

Trenton Elementary also participated. A seventh grader from Southwest Harbor who attends Maine Connections Academy, a virtual charter school, also participated.
