BAR HARBOR — Bar Harbor Police Chief Jim Willis last week presented a check for $2,388 to Mount Desert Island Hospital CEO Art Blank and MDI Behavioral Health Center medical director Diehl Snyder.

The funds came from the sale of a motorcycle that was forfeited to the town following a drug bust last September. The Bar Harbor town council voted to dedicate the funds to the center.

“MDI Hospital is extremely grateful to the town council for voting to dedicate these funds to improving the health of our community and to the Bar Harbor police department for their continual efforts to do the same,” Blank said.
