Three-car collision slows morning commute

TRENTON — A three-car crash made for a slow commute on the Bar Harbor road on Thursday morning.

No one was injured in the crash, which happened just before 9 a.m. in front of Pine State Motors. Police said a box truck traveling south slowed to make a left turn and was rear-ended by the pickup truck behind it, which in turn was hit by a small car. The pickup and the small car both sustained extensive damage to the front end and were towed from the scene.

The accident is still under investigation.
