Boomer Boulevard beer bash busted



SOUTHWEST HARBOR — Seven people were charged with alcohol violations early Monday after police broke up an underage drinking party at a home off the Trap Mill Road.

Police received a tip just before midnight Sunday that minors were drinking at a home on Boomer Boulevard. When Officer Shawn Murphy arrived at the scene, several of the partiers scattered into the nearby woods, according to acting police chief Mike Miller.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department and Mount Desert police were called in to assist.

After gaining control of the situation, police summonsed seven people on a charge of illegal possession of alcohol by consumption. They are Dylan Carroll, 19, Southwest Harbor; Andrew Davis, 18, Tremont; Adam Fraley, 18, Orono; Julia Lewis, 19, Southwest Harbor; Jordan Lord, 19, Blue Hill; Ronald Musetti, 18, Mount Desert; and Ethan Sawyer, 18, Milbridge.

According to police, several vehicles were towed from the scene because the drivers had been consuming alcohol.
