TRENTON — The DownEast Business Conference will take place at the Faith Community Fellowship building on Wednesday, Nov. 2. The conference will focus on workforce development, including hiring, training and retaining employees, as well as human resource basics. A session on how to use social media effectively and ways to extend the season also will be offered.
“This is a great opportunity for business owners and managers to learn how to deal with some of the challenges of running a business today,” said Kristy Overlock, chamber membership coordinator.
The conference runs all day, beginning with registration, coffee and pastries at 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided by a local caterer. The cost for the conference is $50 per person. Attendees can choose their breakout session when they register.
