SOUTHWEST HARBOR — The Planning Board here will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 26, at 6 p.m. to review a 195-foot cell tower application by Florida-based Vertical Bridge Holdings.
This is the second time the company has submitted a proposal to the town, after the Planning Board found their request last fall to be incomplete.
At the meeting, the Planning Board will go through the land use ordinance and determine whether the application meets the required conditions.
If approved, the structure will be built on Freeman Ridge Road, northeast of Buttermilk Brook Road, on property owned by Kenneth Hutchins. It will stand about 200 feet from the only other tower in town.
