BAR HARBOR — A California woman died Sunday after she was involved in a head-on crash on Route 3 in the area of “the Bluffs.”
Nga Thi Le, 65, of Westminster, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at about 4:30 p.m., according to a statement from Bar Harbor police.

Douglas Hager, 64, of Yorba Linda, Calif., was driving the minivan south on Route 3 before crossing over into the opposite lane, according to police. The van struck a guardrail and then collided head-on with an oncoming SUV driven by a New Hampshire woman.
She also suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
