Emera work planned Thursday in Bar Harbor



BAR HARBOR – Electric service along some parts of Route 3 and Lower Main Street here could be interrupted during planned maintenance on Thursday, April 12, according to a notice from Emera Maine.

The work will begin at 10 a.m. and is scheduled to take three hours.

Lower Main Street will be affected between Livingston Road and Schooner Head Road.

Along with the aforementioned roads, customers on Otter Cliff Road, Gray Road, Boulder Brook Lane, Grover Avenue, Richardson Avenue, Walls Street, Music Hill Lane, Cemetery Road, Oliver Street, Snow Street, Center Street, Livingston Road and Schooner Head Road could see interruptions.

In case of rain April 12, the announcement said, the project will be delayed until April 13.
