Bed races attract throng, Bed Hogs win

BAR HARBOR — Hundreds of spectators turned out for the annual Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce bed races on Saturday.

The race course on Cottage Street was lined five deep as teams vied for the title of fastest bed.

The winners this year were the Jackson Laboratory Bed Hogs.

Other organizations entering this year included the Bar Harbor Congregational Church, Bar Harbor Rotary and Interact Team, the Side Street Cafe, Little Anthony’s Restaurant and previous champion R.M Flagg Food Service and Equipment.
