BAR HARBOR — Bob Bechtold has been selected as this year’s MDI Toastmaster of the Year, an honor which demonstrates enthusiasm for improving their leadership and communications skills and their dedication to the club’s well-being.
As one of the first charter members, Bechtold has served in a variety of roles including club president, vice president of education, vice president membership and secretary. He also has maintained the club website for the past five years, served as the division director and twice chaired the district conferences.
