TREMONT — Certified Zentangle Teacher Jenny Perruzzi will teach a free, all ages, introductory class at the Bass Harbor Memorial Library on Thursday, April 5, at 6 p.m.
Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, relaxing way to create images by making structured patterns called tangles, drawn “one stroke at a time.” There are no mistakes. As participants use the Zentangle method to create images, they may enjoy increased focus, creativity, self-confidence and an increased sense of well-being.
Perruzzi will guide students in the fundamentals of this art form, which is suitable for all ages. No art experience is necessary. Participants can bring their own Zentangle materials or purchase a beginner’s kit for $5 that includes tiles, pen, pencil and tortillon.
