‘Traveling Musicians’ comes to COA

BAR HARBOR — The Barn Arts Collective will present “Traveling Musicians,” the animal glam rock musical, at College of the Atlantic’s Thomas S. Gates Community Center on Friday, May 5, at 7 p.m.

“Traveling Musicians” tells the story of Rooster, Donkey, Cat and Dog, who just can’t cut it on the farm. When their four lonely voices come together, though, the quartet sets off on the road to become the biggest animal glam rock band in the world.

Based on the Grimm fairy tale “The Traveling Musicians of Brementown,” this original rock musical was written by New York City theater company 3 Sticks and adapted by the Barn Arts Collective. Admission costs $10 for adults, $5 for children.
