Travel to Peru at Jesup

BAR HARBOR — Marty Williams will give a talk and slideshow about Peru, including Machu Picchu, The Sacred Valley and Lake Titikaka, at the Jesup Memorial Library on Friday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m.

Peru has a rich culture, a rich tapestry woven from strong Inca traditions and Spanish influences, in which each region has its own distinctive and colorful dress. There also are the incredible scenery of the high Andean plain, the architecture of the ancient Inca people and the story of the Spanish conquest of an advanced and complex culture.
