Silver jewelry on display



SOUTHWEST HARBOR — The jewelry of John and Diane Ringseisen will be featured at the Southwest Harbor Public Library for the month of October.

John and Diane Ringseisen started making jewelry in 1998, one year before they married. They enjoyed a healthy business in Newport, R.I., before moving to Europe for five years. They have since resettled in Southwest Harbor and have opened a studio in their home.

John Ringseisen attended Rhode Island School of Design and taught his wife the art of working with silver. They describe their jewelry as simple and elegant. Their work will be on display in the Holmes Room. Call the library, 244-7065.
