TREMONT — Maine artist Judy Taylor will teach a watercolor class focusing on an automotive print advertisement and the car in it at the Seal Cove Auto Museum on Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 8 and 9.

The workshop costs $85 for Seal Cove Auto Museum members and $115 for nonmembers. The cost includes workshop materials and lunch both days. Call Jenna Beaulieu at the museum at 244-9242.

A scholarship is available for one participant. Applicants should send an email to [email protected] and tell the museum about their creative goals and aspirations, and how attending this workshop might help them attain those goals. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is July 8. The museum will notify applicants by July 15.

The class is among a series of events this season that will use the museum’s antique autos to help inspire creativity and encourage artistic pursuits, in conjunction with the museum’s new exhibit, “Selling Lifestyle and Leisure: Art, Advertising and the Automobile.”
