Revisit music of ‘50s, ‘60s



SOUTHWEST HARBOR — New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee Marc Black will visit Coda on Thursday, July 14.

Black will lead a musical tour of the 1950s and1960s, inviting the audience to sing along with songs like “Itsy Bitsy, Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini” and “Blowin’ in the Wind,” as well as tunes by artists ranging from Dean Martin to George Harrison.

In addition to the music and discussion, this program features a slide show. Black also will perform his own group’s top-40 hit from 1967, “Happy,” by the Blades of Grass.
