Progressive dinner set



BAR HARBOR — The annual March on Mount Desert Street Progressive Dinner is set for Tuesday, March 5 starting at 5:15 p.m. at the Abbe Museum. This event, which is free and open to the public, brings together the nonprofits and churches on Mount Desert Street.

First, from 5:15 to 5:30 p.m., students from Conners Emerson School will present a play at the Abbe Museum. Next, appetizers will be served at the YWCA MDI from 5:30 – 6 p.m.

Participants can then cross the street to St. Savior’s Church to sample an array of salads from 6 to 6:30 p.m. The next stop is the Jesup Memorial Library for soup and bread from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Finally, dessert will be served at the Congregational Church at 7 p.m.
