SOUTHWEST HARBOR — A Spring into Summer popover brunch will raise funds for the Common Good Soup Kitchen, 19 Clark Point Road, on Sunday, May 29, from 9 a.m. till noon.
Fresh hot popovers with homemade jam, quiches, old-fashioned oatmeal, juices and hot beverages will be served. Live music will be provided by the CG Band of ukulele players and friends.
The suggested donation of $10 per person will aid the Common Good Soup Kitchen’s programs.
“This is the last day that we will be serving popovers until Saturday, June 11, when we open for our summer daily popover service,” said Common Good spokesperson Larry Stettner.
“We are hoping for a big turnout to help us launch our vital summer popover-based fundraising program.”
