Poetry series planned

MOUNT DESERT — “Open Moment, Open Window: Reading Poems of Place,” the third annual poetry series at the Northeast Harbor Library, will take place on Wednesdays, April 11 and May 9 and 16, from 5-7 p.m.

Candace Stover will facilitate the series, which offers close reading and discussion of selected poems to see “windows and moments poetry can hold open,” said a press release.

“There are moments made of windows, and poetry looks at them. What glimpses and reflections? What season, weather and sky?”

A grant from the Maine Community Foundation made the series possible. To sign up, contact the library at 276-3333 or [email protected].
