SOUTHWEST HARBOR — Yoga teacher, mindful educator, certified yoga health coach and herbalist Sarah O’Neil will present “an evening of warmth, laughter, and practical advice on clearing out the winter stagnation” at the Southwest Harbor Public Library on Wednesday, April 11, from 5:30-7 p.m.
Participants will learn to refresh their mindsets “using ancient techniques from the 5,000-year-old science of Ayurveda,” said a press release. O’Neil “merges yoga, habit evolution, and Ayurveda into daily routines. She will lead you through the steps to bring simple and beautiful daily practices into your life that will help to boost your immunity, keep digestive fire strong and chase away the winter and early springtime funk throughout the season ahead. Techniques such as oiling the body for health, learning when to rise, eat and sleep, creating health-giving morning routines, using simple Ayurvedic practices, and more will all be covered in this workshop.”
