Mother’s Day sale set

SOUTHWEST HARBOR — The annual Mother’s Day sale at the Southwest Harbor Public Library will take place from Saturday, May 5, through Saturday, May 12, during library hours.

The sale is an opportunity to find a gift for the mothers and other special women.

This event benefits the library’s children’s programs, from storytellers and musicians to authors and summer reading programs. New or gently used jewelry, scarves, china, linens, knick-knacks, lotions, baked goods and more will be priced to sell.

Saturday, May 12, will be the big sale celebration, including Mother’s Day crafts and face painting by Mike Duffy.
