TREMONT — Suzanne and Pete Madeira will discuss their visits to Luxembourg on Thursday, Jan. 17, at 5:30 p.m. at the Harvey Kelly Room at the lower level of the Tremont Town Office.
The Madeiras regularly travel to Luxembourg for good reason: they have two teenage granddaughters living there. While the family is at work and school, Suzanne and Pete often explore the Grand Duchy. It’s not a big country, they say, but it’s well worth visiting thanks to its excellent public transportation and universal health care, varied terrain including the Ardennes Forest and the most walking trails per-capita of any EU country.
Crackers, cheese and cider will follow the presentation.
