BAR HARBOR — The Mallett Brothers Band will play at The Criterion Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 8 p.m.
The band’s blend of country, rock and roll, Americana and alternative country has garnered a national following, but they still call Maine home. Playing over 150 shows across the country each year, they’ve shared stages with many big-name artists, including The Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Toby Keith.
“The Mallett Brothers Band is a perfect example of what’s so great about Maine: top-notch performers who have taken their talent and skill and added to it their very own way of doing things,” said Director Heather Martin. “Solid craftsmanship with a unique perspective.”
Sugarbush, the soulful, Americana folk trio of “musical mamas” from Maine, will kick off the night of live music.
Tickets, which cost $20 for adults, $15 for students, can be purchased at www.criteriontheatre.org or at the box office an hour before the performance.
