BAR HARBOR — The artists have been booked and the stage has been set for the 2014-2015 “Sundays at the Jesup” Winter Concert Series. An eclectic selection of artists is sure to make Sunday afternoons better for everyone. All shows are at 2 p.m.
On Dec. 7, The Blueberry Jammers, a group of nine dulcimer players with a stand-up bass, a guitar and vocalists, will perform bluegrass, Celtic and holiday tunes.
On Dec. 14, Bob Bowman, an acoustic guitarist, will play traditional Celtic and American tunes interspersed with current pop and original compositions.
On Jan. 11, SlaneyRose Jordan will sing standards and show tunes accompanied by local pianist Michelle McCann.
On Feb. 8, Hawk Henries, renowned Native American flutist and traditional flute maker, will perform his own songs and traditional tunes.
On March 15, Gus LaCasse and Friends will play Celtic and Cape Breton Traditional music on fiddle, guitar, pipes and bodhran.
On April 12, Acadia Chorale, a 60-member community chorus from as far away as Thorndike, will preview their spring show as Jesup’s last concert of the winter season.
