Robin Williams tribute to screen at The Grand

robin-williamsELLSWORTH — A film tribute to the late comic and dramatic actor Robin Williams will be held at The Grand beginning on Friday, Nov. 21.

“Good Will Hunting” will be shown that evening at 7 p.m. The film is about a South Boston laborer, an unrecognized genius, and his work with a therapist who helps him reevaluate his relationships and think about his future. (1997. 2 hr, 6 min. R)

“Dead Poets Society” is showing on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 7 p.m. In this period drama, Williams plays a teacher at a prep school who helps his students to see the world and their lives in a different light. (1989. 2 hrs, 8 min. PG)

The tribute concludes with “Mrs. Doubtfire” on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. In this, perhaps the most beloved of his films, Williams plays the part of a divorced actor who gets the help of his makeup-artist brother to take a job as a nanny in the home of his ex-wife and children. (1993. 2 hrs. PG-13.)
