BAR HARBOR — A Jeopardy-themed History Happy Hour will be hosted by the Mount Desert Island Historical Society and Seal Cove Auto Museum at Galyn’s on Thursday, May 17, from 5-7 p.m.
Subjects will range from local and Maine-based trivia to ancient history, as well as photo-identification challenges that organizers expect will stump all but the savviest historians. Guests will have the opportunity to form teams and compete for a plethora of historical prizes. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
This evening is part of the History Happy Hour series geared toward members of both museums. These events provide an opportunity for members to mingle with friends, neighbors and fellow history buffs; imbibe local spirits; and learn something new. Nonmembers can join both the Seal Cove Auto Museum and the MDI Historical Society at a special dual rate of $50.
