MOUNT DESERT — Matt Anderson, the curator of transportation at The Henry Ford Museum, will give a free public talk at the Seal Cove Auto Museum on Saturday, May 7, at 6 p.m. The talk follows the annual conference of the National Association of Automobile Museums, hosted at the museum from May 3 through May 6.
Anderson will speak about the life and times of Edsel Ford and his relationship with his father, Henry Ford. Included in the talk will be discussion of a 1934 Luxus that Edsel custom built, which is now on display at the Seal Cove Auto Museum on loan from the collection of Chris and Kathleen Koch.
The mission of the Seal Cove Auto Museum is to tell the story of innovation and ingenuity in New England and America through the early development of the automobile.
