BAR HARBOR — A night of baroque harp music featuring Phoebe Durand-McDonnell will be held on Saturday, July 13, at 7 p.m. at the Jesup Memorial Library.
Durand-McDonnell, who is from Bar Harbor, began studying harp at age 10 and graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory with a major in harp performance and a minor in music history.
She recently received a Fulbright to study historical harp performance in the Department of Musique Ancienne at the École de Musique in Geneva, Switzerland. She previously had studied the baroque harp for a summer in the Czech Republic.
