Grand takes trip ‘Down the Rabbit Hole’

ELLSWORTH — “Alice: Down the Rabbit Hole” will be performed live at The Grand on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 17 and 18, at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m.

Based on Lewis Carroll’s “Alice” stories, written by Executive Director Nick Turner and directed by Education Director Jasmine A. Ireland, the dramatic trip through a wondrous world will feature integrated dance compositions in partnership with Northern Lights Dance Studio and an original score by Mark Tipton.

The cast includes Tyler Costigan, Angela Bonacasa, Veronica Young, Emory Robotham, Deb Ashmore, Telly Coolong, Michelle Dokka, Josh Torrance, Nick Hansen, Whitney Pierson, Sophie Torrance, Savannah Hasham, Harlan Mahoney, Emma Kohr, Finley Harmon, Rose Kazmierczak and Faye Durrand-McDonell.

The production team includes Shelbi Werner as the choreographer, Joe Lewis as the scenic designer, Garrett Harris as the projection designer, Turner as the sound designer, Rebecca Wright, Ashmore and Ireland as costumers and Cody Harper as board op.
