BAR HARBOR — An outdoor exhibition of classic cars and other vehicles is set for the grounds at La Rochelle, the mansion and museum headquarters of the Bar Harbor Historical Society at 127 West Street, for Saturday, Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is being co-hosted by the Seal Cove Auto Museum.

There is no charge to attend this show, which will be conforming to gathering size limits and complying with mandatory social distancing, mask wearing and hand-sanitizing recommendations.

Among the vehicles on display will be a 1912 Ford Model T Torpedo, 1912 Crane, 1941 Pontiac, 1928 Ford Huckster, a vintage Fire Engine and much more.

“For many classic vehicles are the touchstones upon which time is measured,” said Bar Harbor Historical Society President Earl Brechlin. “Sharing La Rochelle, the grounds, our collections and these incredible classic cars with the community goes to the core of our mission,” he added.
