BAR HARBOR — Roxanne Brouse will discuss her recently completed monograph describing Beatrix Farrand’s work designing the historic carriage roads of Acadia National Park at Garland Farm on Tuesday, July 26, from 4-5 p.m. The Beatrix Farrand Society is sponsoring this event.

The monograph, entitled “The Public-Spirited Beatrix Farrand of Mount Desert Island” is the first detailed guide to her work on the carriage roads. Pre-orders will be accepted after the talk.
