End-of-life panel planned

BAR HARBOR — A panel discussion on wills, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, retirement and end-of-life financial planning will take place at the Jesup Memorial Library on Saturday, April 21, at 1:30 p.m.

The panel will feature Bill Tymoczko, the owner of the law firm Fellows, Kee, Tymoczko and Pierson; Peter Nicholson, vice president, senior portfolio manager at First Advisors; and Elise Frank, a financial adviser at Edward Jones.

Tymoczko is a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s in accounting and a graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. He specializes in probate administration.

Nicholson joined First Advisors in 2015 after working at Bar Harbor Trust Services in Ellsworth as vice president, investment officer. Before that, he worked for both Fidelity Investments and Charles Schwab. He is a certified financial planner.

Frank is a financial adviser for Edward Jones and opened the first branch office in Bar Harbor. Her focuses include retirement savings strategies; socially conscious investing; insurance and annuities; estate and legacy strategies; and retirement income strategies.

Age By Design is a series of programs co-sponsored by the Jesup, the YWCA Mount Desert Island, the Mount Desert Island YMCA and Island Connections that focuses on all facets of life for people ages 50 and over on Mount Desert Island.
