Dance to benefit SPCA

BAR HARBOR —The Crown Vics will perform at an Oscar-themed Cabin Fever Dance at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel on Saturday, March 3, from 7-10:30 p.m. to help raise money for the SPCA of Hancock County.

Food and beverages will be available for sale at the event.

Tickets cost $15 each or $25 for two and are available at the door. For an additional $99, the Atlantic Oceanside will be offering a “Stay & Play” package, which includes overnight accommodations and breakfast for two.

Since the cabin fever dance falls on the eve of the 2018 Academy Awards, guests are encouraged to dress as their favorite movie star or character. Prizes will be given for the best costume. Stanley Subaru will be on hand with its photo booth.

All of the proceeds from ticket sales and the photo booth will benefit the SPCA’s nonprofit animal shelter in Trenton. Since opening its doors, the SPCA had provided shelter and medical care, and found new homes for hundreds of stray, abandoned and surrendered dogs and cats.
