Country Strummers to reunite



SOUTHWEST HARBOR — Three of the Country Strummers will play a reunion show at Coda in Southwest Harbor on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 6 p.m.

The band, originally composed of Ruth Grierson on piano, Ralph Stanley on fiddle, Floyd Farley on banjo, Fred Black on guitar/vocals and Skip Fraley on washtub bass, played on and around Mount Desert Island through the ‘70s and ‘80s.

Grierson, Stanley and Fraley will be joined in concert by Eddie Damm and Keith Davis. Call 244-8133 for reservations.
