Colburn to suggest must-have plants



BAR HARBOR — Lisa Colburn, the award-winning author of “The Maine Garden Journal: Insider Secrets from Maine People Who Love To Put Their Hands in the Dirt,” will be the keynote speaker at the Bar Harbor Garden Club annual meeting and luncheon at the Kebo Valley Club on Thursday, May 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Colburn will identify her list of must-have trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals.

The luncheon, which includes entrée, beverage, dessert and tip, costs $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers. Reservations and meal selections must be made by May 8. Email [email protected] or call 244-1116.
