Birding trips at Schoodic Institute

WINTER HARBOR — All are welcome to join the Schoodic Institute’s Tuesday Morning Birding program in January and February and find birds along the Schoodic Peninsula auto loop.

Sessions are scheduled Jan. 16, 23 and 30 and Feb. 6 and 13, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Participants will observe winter birds with Seth Benz, the institute’s bird ecology director, and learn how to use and extract information from eBird.

Participants should dress for the weather and bring binoculars. Van trips will be free. Meet at Schoodic Point in Winter Harbor.
