Soprano to sing for others suppers



SOUTHWEST HARBOR — Soprano Caroline Homer will perform on Saturday, July 11, at 7 p.m. to raise money for the Westside Food Pantry. She will be joined by pianist Ben Havey and perform pieces by Brahms, Bellini, Rossini, Puccini and others.

Homer is a graduate of Mount Desert Island High School and was an acclaimed soloist in high school productions

The recital will take place at St. John Church, 315 Main St. and will be followed by a reception. The suggested donation is $15 with all proceeds going to the food pantry.
