Seawall digital photography workshop set

SOUTHWEST HARBOR — A digital photography workshop will be led by Acadia’s Artist-in-Residence Jennifer Booher at the Seawall shoreline on Friday, July 10, at 11:30 a.m. Meet at Seawall Picnic Area on Route 102A.

Come look for shells, stones and driftwood along the shore and compose patterns or scenes with them. As you work, Booher will help you identify your finds and answer your questions about the natural history of the area. Then photograph your artwork with your camera phone or one of our cameras and print out two photos to take home. At the end of the class, we will return all our borrowed treasures back to their environment, leaving the beach in its natural state for all to enjoy.
