MOUNT DESERT — The Maine Sea Coast Mission is hosting a concert series at the Northeast Harbor Marina on Thursdays before the Movie at the Marina. These concerts, free and open to the public, run from 7-8:30 p.m. and include the following performers.
July 2: Big Moose Contra Dance Band – nine-member band
July 16: Blake Russo Band – acoustic Americana with guitar, fiddle and percussion
July 30: The Woodshed Boys – old-time string band with guitar, banjo and fiddle
Aug. 13: Downeast Musical Bordello – Americana, folk and bluegrass with a variety of instruments
Aug. 27: The Big Group Band – 17-piece swing band
