Naturalist to lead bird walk

BAR HARBOR — Naturalist Rich MacDonald of the Natural History Center will present a talk titled “Going to the Birds in Bar Harbor” at the Jesup Memorial Library on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 10:30 a.m.

MacDonald will speak for 30-40 minutes about birds that will be in the area over the next several months, how to spot them and what their habits are. The talk will be followed by a bird walk through downtown Bar Harbor, ending at the MDI YMCA.

The program, free and open to all, is part of the Thursday “Talks and Walks,” a joint program of the MDI YMCA and Jesup Memorial Library.
