Tenor Jeremy Dutcher will perform a private concert as part of the Abbe Museum’s Midsummer fundraiser event Wednesday, Aug. 1, in the museum’s backyard. The event features cuisine inspired by native communities and both a silent and live auction. Dutcher is a classically trained operatic tenor and composer who takes every opportunity to blend his Wolastoq First Nation roots into the music he creates. His debut release, Wolastoqiyik Lintuwakonawa, involves the rearrangement of early 1900s wax cylinder field recordings from his community. Regular tickets are $150 per person. The event will be held rain or shine. Visit abbemuseum.org/midsummer or call 288-3519.
