Jesup will offer craft workshops

BAR HARBOR — Jesup Memorial Library will offer a slate of hands-on holiday craft workshops suitable for family members of all ages in December.

On Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 6 p.m., Sherry Rasmussen will teach how to make origami holiday ornaments.

On Thursday, Dec. 11, at 6 p.m., Kathy Woodside will show crafters how to easy it is to make jewelry out of ordinary objects – metal washers and nail polish.

On Saturday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m., Beverly Haskell will be doing hand-painted Christmas ornaments. This class limited to 12 people, and registration is necessary. Call or stop in to see Children’s Librarian Mae Corrion to secure your spot.

On Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 6 p.m., Corrion will show you how to make a lovely “stained glass” ornament with kid-friendly materials. For this class, bring a stapler if you have one.

All craft materials will be provided. Be sure to bring your holiday spirit.
