ACS open art show



MOUNT DESERT — Acadia Senior College’s Annual Exhibit is currently on display in the Mellon Room at the Northeast Harbor Library.

This exhibit, with a theme of “Focus,” includes sculpture, paintings and photography. Artists include Jean Forbes, George Soules, Art Paine, Phil Steele, Roberta Sprague and Lydia Goetze.

Melita Westerlund was the main force behind the fifth-annual arch, “Counting Sheep,” inside the entrance, with help from Susan Lerner and Sydney Roberts.

The exhibit is on view during library hours (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) except when the room is reserved for other uses. Call 276-3333 or visit www.nehlibrary.org.
