BAR HARBOR — Author, writer, naturalist and fly fisher Bob Romano will make a presentation about the Rangeley Lakes region of western Maine at the Jesup Memorial Library on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m. Nicknamed “The Land of Fishing Legends,” the region is known for its native brook trout and wild landlocked salmon.

Romano will talk about fishing the Magalloway, Cupsuptic, Kennebago or Rapid Rivers, along with the flora, fauna and history of this unspoiled part of Maine. His talk also will feature photos highlighting the varied fishing spots and wildlife that can be spotted in the region.
