Mad scientist focuses on physics



SOUTHWEST HARBOR — The “Marvels of Motion” show will be presented by the Southwest Harbor Public Library on Thursday, July 23, at 6:30 p.m.

This show, sure to make Isaac Newton proud, is about Newton’s three laws of physics and other properties of the laws of motion and gravity. Rotational forces, a rocket pack blast off, electromagnetic propulsion and Mad Science’s exclusive Newton’s rocket car are just a few action-packed experiments the audience will investigate.

This engaging physics performance is sure to please everyone and inspire more imaginative learning in all of the audience members. The program is sponsored by Southwest Harbor Public Library’s Summer Story Camp and relates to the week on space. All are welcome, but the show is best for kindergarten and up.
