King to speak at COA, Jesup

BAR HARBOR — Award-winning author Lily King, whose novel “Euphoria” was named one of the 10 best books of 2014 by the New York Times Book Review, will visit College of the Atlantic on Thursday, July 23, from 9-10 a.m to discuss her work.

King will sit down for a frank conversation with COA President Darron Collins as part of the school’s summertime Coffee and Conversation Series. The event takes place in the Deering Common Community Center and is free and open to the public.


King also will be at the Jesup Memorial Library on Wednesday, July 22, at 7 p.m. That event is co-sponsored by Sherman’s bookstore. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the Jesup that night, with a percentage of sales donated to the library.
