BAR HARBOR — The Laugh Shack will bring its brand of club-style comedy to Carmen Verandah, 119 Main St., on Saturday, June 20.
In August of 2013, Tim Hofmann, a Maine-born comedian, artist and father, opened up his home to his fellow Maine comedians. In his basement, which he dubbed the “Laugh Shack,” friends and comics would meet a few times a month to drink and laugh together. The basement group has grown into a permanent comedy club in Westbrook, as well as a traveling comedy show.
Hofmann will be joined at Carmen Verandah by comedians Will Green, Connor McGrath and others. The show is for adults 21 years old or older. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door, at www.hofmanncomedy.com or by calling 288-2886. Seating begins at 8 p.m. for the 9 p.m. show.
