Friends of Acadia (FOA) and Acadia National Park annually invite kids and their families to explore the park together than through the fun and varied challenges of the Acadia Quest, an experiential scavenger hunt.
The 2016 Quest will focus on Acadia’s 100-year history with activities that celebrate its past and inspire its future.
Families, friends, relatives, or mentors create a team, which must include at least one child under the age of 18 and one adult aged 18 years or older. Register online at www.friendsofacadia.org or by calling 288-3340 to receive a park map and a Quest card. Teams will document each activity with a photo, or other information as indicated on the Quest card. Teams are required to have a park entrance pass.
A grand prize drawing takes place at Take Pride in Acadia Day, the first weekend in November.
