BSO quartet to play at The Criterion Theatre

BAR HARBOR — A string quartet from the Bangor Symphony Orchestra will perform a pair of free concerts at The Criterion Theatre on Friday, April 28, first at 1 p.m. for area schools, then at 8 p.m. for the general public.

The performance for schools will include a question-and-answer session. Any schools wishing to attend should contact theater director Heather Martin at [email protected] or at 288-0829.

“It is such a privilege and an honor to have this quartet from the Bangor Symphony Orchestra here at The Criterion to perform for the community and inspire the next generation,” said Martin.

Doors open for the evening performance at 7 p.m. and do not require reservations. Both performances are offered free of charge because of a donation from Machias Savings Bank.
